Plastic surgery and genetic manipulation is nowadays a common thing.
What would it look like if I use these possibilities as an designer?
The quick evolution of beetles inspired me to take a next step in evolution.
By reshuffling different insects in the computer I developed mutations and new species.
To cut out the mutations in leather I used the laser cutter.
By then wetting the leather en putting them in the right shape,
new forms of life were born.
